Animal print pattern generator
The patterns of a coat, repeated. Choose a leopard, a zebra, a giraffe or camouflage, how many markings there are across the tile and how far they wobble, and export a seamless print as SVG, PNG or CSS.

Coats and cloth
Animal prints have been worn for as long as there have been animals to wear, and they went from the hunt to the fashion house to the wall of a nightclub. Leopard spots, zebra stripes and giraffe patches all stand for the same thing: a coat that is hard to read as one shape. Camouflage is the same idea turned into a uniform, with irregular blobs of three or four colors.
The generator does not copy a real animal. It draws the type of marking that makes a leopard look like a leopard.
How the generator builds them
Each print starts as a smooth field of noise and is cut into flat regions at a few levels. Leopard rosettes are rings with a darker rim and a lighter heart, zebra stripes are bands that bend as if the coat were stretched, and giraffe patches are cells drawn around a scatter of points with narrow light lines between them. Camouflage stacks three layers of blobs.
The noise is built from waves with whole-number wave vectors, so the tile wraps around and the print repeats without a seam.
What you can adjust
- Print — leopard, zebra, giraffe or camouflage.
- Spots across, stripes or blob size — how many markings fit in the tile.
- Wobble — how far the markings are warped and broken.
- Dark weight — how much of the coat is covered by the markings.
- Other coat — a new draw of the random markings.
- Colors — a ground and up to three markings; any palette, from a snow leopard to a city camo.
